mythologianI'm getting really tired of teachers/people having conversations with me one semester that consist of them saying - "you talk to much, learn to shut up and don't push your opinions on other people. Everyone's complaining about you."
and then the next semester, after a group exercise during which I kept my mouth shut to keep the peace, say "Rose, you should trust yourself more! You need to make sure your opinions are heard, because they're good ideas! You need more confidence in yourself, you're not talking up enough."
