She's still being crafty ...
Apr. 17th, 2010 09:49 pmSo the trinity scarf is coming along nicely, I'll try and post pictures of it later. I'm thinking I'll be done with it by the end of Apr. if I keep at it while watching my TV shows. On an interesting side note, my friend Dassie who I knitted a 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 foot baby blanket for for her son Sammy, who's my honorary nephew, tells me her cousin is interested in me knitting him an adult sized blanket. It would be a major project and I told her I'd have to work out some details before I could give her a final price, since I originally priced the blanket for Sammy at $300 total with the backing added. I'm thinking an adult sized one would be around $500, which would be really nice if someone wanted to buy one.
I'm also thinking of putting up an etsy shop when I get back to the states and putting my knitting and other jewelry up for sale at it. I love knitting, and I've been learning some cool knew stitchs to do patterns with which has been fun. The problem is there are only so many scarves you can give to people before it's too many. Not to mention most of my friends live in LA where scarves aren't really needed.
