I need more icon space, but since that would involve actually spending money on LJ it is not in the foreseeable future.
Sometimes I can't tell if I hate my job or love it.
Well I definitely don't love it at the moment, but I'll settle for liking it. It's just they've moved me off of my floor customer service position (b/c corporate is made of stupid and decided to get rid of the head customer service position and instead have only part timers run the floor), I want to cry when I see the mess my floor has become. In the meantime they've made me a head-cashier, which is ok but seriously fucking boring and a hell of a lot more stressful. I really miss shmoozing with customers and helping them find what they need, but then again this is a job not a vacation and therefore I am being paid and have little to no room to complain. Especially not in a state where the reported unemployment is at 7%. They could have simply downsized me along with the position and I am greatful that they didn't.
I still miss the customer interaction though, it's just not the same at the registers.
