So it has come to my attention...
Oct. 6th, 2008 01:52 pmThat I am horrible about updating my LJ and I'm going to try and make a serious effort to be better about it. I think the problem is that I'm a crazy lurker who likes to live vicariously through the people on my friends list. It also probably has to do with my almost terminally shy attitude about commenting. It's just so awkward (and seriously that word is ridiculous awkward its self I mean look at all those w's and a then a 'k'?) posting for the first time, especially if you're just posting to say "hi, I admire your work, so I'm friending you. No I'm not some crazy stalker." and even after that first time unless I know the person face to face I always feel like I might be misunderstood or end up sounding crazy.
Anyhoo enough rambling on my part. Although, when I think of it that is what a journal is for - to ramble about random shit... and sometimes important shit.
Currently I'm waiting for some gluten-free donuts to defrost so I can enjoy their chocolaty goodness, and washing clothes. Now the whole clothes thing sounds normal, but this a load of t-shirts and whatnot that I found on the side of the road a block away and figured would be perfect for the rag bin at school. I'm taking a litho class this fall and loving it but we do run through a ridiculous amount of rags and since the school can't afford a cleaning service we're always looking for new stuff. Any old clothes will do but underwear so not permitted, and when the teacher makes a point of telling you that you just know someone brought in a load of panties at some point. Either way, I'm washing these ones cuz they were kinda dirty from the road and the smelled like a cat had nested in them in a stinky kinda of way.
I think I'm gonna download some Criminal Minds and rot my brain while I wait.
