First the good news ...
Apr. 3rd, 2006 08:21 pmFirst the good news I got my grades back for this past quarter and I got all A's, go me! In fact I got an A+ in the class with the evil grading curve so I'm really happy about that.
Now here's the debate --
I'm taking another course with the vil grading curve teacher this quarter (Anthro 121C - Evolution of the Genus Homo) and I know the topic really well so I'm not to paranoid about it. I'm also definitly taking the second half of the Egyptology course (M103B), an Art History course on material preservation (C103D), and a little 2 unit off thing which is a personal study continuation of the Scandinavian folklore class of last quarter. Now all of that seems like it's going to be pretty okay. So here's the issue -- do I try and add into Anthro 119 - Cities Past and Present, which is a course on the evolution of human settlements. It fulfills my archaeology requirement for my major, and it would mean I'd only have 6 more classes need to complete my major. But I'm wondering if the workload might be too much, especially since I'll be missing two thursdays and a wednesday during the 2nd and 3rd weeks of scool because of Passover.
The Art History course in on Wed, but all of the others are on Tues & Thurs, which means I'd be missing two classes in all three courses. Now, even though I'm pretty on top of the 121C course, I'm still mildly paranoid about missing class, and when accompanied by all the other courses I'm really paranoid.
So here's the question -- Do I add the class or not?
I'm not sure if I'm just being overly paranoid about the isse or not, so give me your opinions people.
