I just finished watching Cold Case ... and is it just me or has there been a hell-lot-ah transgender based stories lately? and all of them seem to focus on the level of hate crimes and despair dealt with by them. *is feeling a horribly angsty plot bunny chewing at her ankles based on the show... but one with a happier ending*
On a totally different note I am currently voiceless due to the nasty head cold which changed to the firey throat of hell and now to the "smoker's rasp" voice, but on the happier side of things, something pretty cool happened yesterday.
*drum roll please*
I saw my first movie star!!! Now alot of you will say - you live in LA, big deal! - but I will point out that while yes I live in LA, in all my 12+ years here I have never spotted a celebrity out and about doing normal ppl things. It was David Spade at my Walgreens where I was picking up cough syrup and drops. Well there goes my status as a Los Angelian who's never 'spotted' a famous person.
